When I do, I'll reach out by email to check in and make sure all assignments you've emailed me about turning in late, are all set. If you didn't finish yesterday's quiz, no worries, please get it done today (minus a few points for being late, but not many). Between now and when I email you Monday, if you have any questions please let me know! No attendance is being taken Monday or Tuesday, I will be available by email, or Office Hours, to meet with you to answer any final questions. Happy Friday all!

  • For #14-17 (and all sketching /end behavior questions in general) remember to always challenge yourself to sketch the graph on your own first, no calculator! Then use the graphing calculator to check your idea/thinking.

In these notes I also go step-by-step through quadratic modeling without a calculator (prior knowledge skill, we don't want to forget!). You have today and tomorrow to work on and finish these notes and textbook practice questions. Today's practice questions are due in Google Classroom by Sunday 5/31 at midnight.

5.3 Delta Math Review: We're practicing operations with rational expressions (adding, subtracting, multiplying and complex fractions/division) today to get ready for tomorrow's 5.3 Delta Math Quiz. The Delta Math assignment for today will be open at 9:30am.



Friday 04/03  
Due Sunday at midnight in Google Classroom: Submit your 5.3 Practice B and 5.2 Practice C #1-4 work (classwork from yesterday's Padlet activity). Before submitting your assignment, use the posted answer key to correct your work in a different color. After making your corrections, self-assess/reflect on your work and score your assignment out of 10 points at the top. Then submit the assignment to G.C.

Recommendation: Download and use the Adobe Scan app (icon). It creates .pdf files using the camera on your phone, and will allow you to submit all the pages of your review as one file instead of multiple different pictures.

Homework: Make sure you're able to log in to Delta Math. If you're not able to log in, email me today and we can figure it out in advance. We're reviewing Monday using Delta Math, and Tuesday we'll be taking a 5.3 Delta Math Quiz.
